[PRE-ORDER] The Superior Labor Zip Pen Case

TSL have a long history of creating zip-type pen cases using various materials. This season, oil leather has been chosen for the exterior.

The colours of the exterior and interior have been selected to match beautifully, plus a hot-stamped inner pocket gives a chic, timeless look.

The round zipper allows it to open wide, and pens can be stored by inserting them into the pockets.

This case is designed for carefully carrying and protecting a number of pens and other small essentials.

【About the Leather – Oil Leather】

This cowhide is slowly tanned with vegetable-derived tannins, then thoroughly permeated with oil and carefully kneaded to enhance its suppleness and durability.

The surface finish is very natural, retaining the leather’s inherent small scratches and texture, which is the charm unique to genuine leather. With use, its colour and lustre will deepen, developing a unique character of its own.

The Superior Labor was founded in 2007 by Makoto Kawai, a master of leatherwork and vintage clothing. The workshop at Nap Village was established in 2012, high in the Okayama mountains, where a small team cuts and sews every piece by hand.

The quality of materials and superb craftsmanship are what sets TSL apart. Paraffin-coated canvas, Tochigi and glove leather, and solid brass hardware are all chosen to wear in rather than wear out.

New collections are released twice a year and are usually offered here as a pre-order before they land.
