Esterbrook x BUNGUBOX Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen

The first release in the Kachofugetsu series, Esterbrook’s collaboration with BUNGUBOX, the boutique Hamamatsu pen atelier of Japanese artist Kaoru Yamagishi. Kachofugetsu is the classical Japanese phrase for “flower, bird, wind, moon”, the beauty of nature, and this Flower Edition captures the Someiyoshino cherry tree in full bloom: a semi-translucent crackled pink acrylic drifted with delicate blossoms, so the petals seem suspended inside the barrel. Even the included converter is printed with its own pink blossoms, visible through the pen.

Gold trim throughout, and the gold-plated #6 JoWo steel nib is engraved with the Japanese character for flower. A limited edition on the full-size Estie platform with an international cartridge/converter filling system. One quirk worth knowing: this edition omits the Estie’s usual Cushion Cap spring (the cap still seals properly to keep the nib wet). Available with an Extra Fine or Fine nib.
