The TWSBI ECO is the brand’s entry-point fountain pen: a piston-filling demonstrator that brings the working principles of a much more expensive pen down to a more affordable price. Mechanically, the ECO uses the same piston-filling system as TWSBI’s more expensive pens, holds a healthy ink capacity. The steel nib writes wet and reliably.
This white cherry blossom edition comes with white cap, silver trims and the clear barrel decorated with cherry blossoms.

TWSBI was launched in 2009 in Taiwan by Ta Shin Precision, a manufacturer with decades of experience producing plastic and metal components for other companies before turning that expertise to fountain pens of its own. The name comes from the Chinese phrase "San Wen Tong" — the Hall of Three Cultures — with the initials reversed to form "TWS" and "BI" added for its meaning of writing instrument.
The brand is best known for its piston-filling demonstrator pens, including the Diamond 580 and the hugely popular ECO. Clear barrels show off the ink and filling mechanism, while a level of build quality usually reserved for far more expensive pens is offered at a genuinely accessible price.
