Esterbrook’s Niblet is the perfect pocket pen: just 10.8cm capped, it slips into a jeans pocket or pencil case, then extends to a full 13cm writing length. Tortoise is the heritage colour-way of the range. A classic amber and chocolate tortoiseshell acrylic straight out of the brand’s 1930s pattern book, with the vintage R. Esterbrook & Co script in gold along the cap.
Despite its size the Niblet takes the same #6 gold-plated JoWo steel nib as the full-size Estie, fully interchangeable across the range. It arrives in a retro printed presentation box with a soft felt pen pouch. Choose an Extra Fine or Fine nib, or the custom-ground Journaler, a smooth architect-style grind made for everyday journaling.
