The Superior Labor created this leather case for those who love to draw: for artists who find joy in carrying their tools and capturing inspiration wherever it appears.
This case has two key features. The first is its ample storage capacity, designed to hold many long pens such as brush pens that are perfect for sketching and illustration. The second is a set of elastic bands made to fit small 6ml ink bottles, ideal for those who prefer using dip pens.
Beneath the elastic bands is a zippered pocket, perfect for keeping small items such as pen nibs, solid watercolour pans, or masking tape: everything an artist might need, neatly stored in one place.

The Superior Labor was founded in 2007 by Makoto Kawai, a master of leatherwork and vintage clothing. The workshop at Nap Village was established in 2012, high in the Okayama mountains, where a small team cuts and sews every piece by hand.
The quality of materials and superb craftsmanship are what sets TSL apart. Paraffin-coated canvas, Tochigi and glove leather, and solid brass hardware are all chosen to wear in rather than wear out.
Our range covers the stationery side of what they make: pen cases and pen rolls, A5 and A6 notebook covers, zip organisers, canvas and leather pouches, and the Engineer and Mission Case bags, alongside brass charms and clips. New collections are released twice a year and are usually offered here as a pre-order before they land.
