Hankodori Rubber Stamp – Cat with Baguette

Hankodori was founded in 2007 by Yoshie Kondo, a Japanese artist with over 38 years' experience in the art of eraser stamp carving. The name combines the Japanese words hanko (stamp) and tori (bird) — and the brand's trademark bird logo is based on a drawing her second son made when he was four years old.

Her designs are inspired by the quiet beauty of everyday Japanese life — animals, plants, letters, and small domestic scenes — and carry a warmth and character that reflects decades of working in a handmade medium.
